THE MEMORY WEAVERS

The Memory Weavers is a film which is the culmination of a variety of experiments exploring the distortion of memory through the movement of kinetic sculpture. I gave these kinetic sculptures deity like personas in the form of anthropomorphic birds which to create narrative for these movements. Some of the many influences for this project include modernist pieces such as Oskar Schlemmer’s Triadic ballet along with the surrealist Leonora Carrington.
